Hailing from Rotterdam, APHØTIC has quickly made a name for himself in the techno scene. Drawing inspiration from the depths of the ocean, he based his name on the ‘aphotic zone’, which is the part of the ocean that is completely dark and cannot be reached by sunlight. This theme is reflected in his music, which has a dark, aggressive, and fast-paced sound that keeps the audience dancing endlessly.

In 2019, APHØTIC began DJing, and shortly after he started producing his own music. He has since become known for his unique style and exceptional mixing skills. Gaining millions of streams on his tracks and getting the opportunity to perform on some of Europe’e biggest events and venues.

The release of his track ‘Thalassophobia’ in January 2023 has helped boost his exposure even further. The track has been gaining streams at a rapid pace and has quickly become a fan favorite.
